The Kentucky Lakes/Prizer Point KOA is typically packed on an August weekend, but during our visit, we virtually had the place to ourselves. We previously visited Prizer Point in fall 2019. At that time, the campground and cabins were all full. When we returned in late summer 2020, the forecast was calling for the remnants of a hurricane to spoil the weekend. We took a chance it would miss, but apparently most other campers did not. As a result, the campground was likely less than 25% occupied.
Having free range of the amenities, we relaxed by the pools, enjoyed the SUPs, kayaks, paddle boats, played on the Wibit, and enjoyed biking and walking around the campground.
