For the school's winter break, we monitored the weather around the holidays, looking for a warm few days within a manageable distance. We found an opening - Hot Springs!

We had the opportunity to take a no kids trip to Walt Disney World for a conference. This wasn’t a camping trip, but it was Florida in December - so we went.  Although we keep the Mantis in the garage over the winter, we still follow a plan to winterize our systems to protect against expensive repairs. Read on to learn what we did.  For our fifth consecutive year, we celebrated Thanksgiving at the campground! This year, we headed to Bayou Segnette State Park in Louisiana to serve as our base camp for visiting NOLA!  |
