On our way to Georgia, we made an overnight stop at Old Stone Fort State Park, in Manchester TN., south of Nashville. Contrary to our expectations, Old Stone Fort isn’t a fort at all, but rather a Native American religious site.
 Sometimes we just need to go camping. This was one of those weekends. It was the the first weekend of November and it was perfect camping weather - warm days and cool nights. As a deviation from Cricket Camping, I took the kids tent camping for a weekend and let Jessica have the weekend to herself at home. Although we camp fifty nights a year, it had been years since we tent camped!  |
